·        Retained by a sewer and water contractor to prepare a $1.2 million claim for changes in construction methods and design, breach of contract, changed subsurface conditions and sequencing of work. Successfully represented contractor in arbitration.

·        Acted as Expert for a general contractor preparing claim documentation in a dispute with a bonding company over a subcontractor default. Provided Expert testimony in court. Claim successful. Ellis Don v Canadian Surety

·        Retained by a general contractor as Expert in defence of a $36.0 million lawsuit for delays due to changed site conditions on a high rise project. Represented contractor at pre-trial meeting of Experts, claim settled with contractor before trial commenced.

·        Acted as single Arbitrator in dispute between an Architect and Engineer over fees.

·        Retained by an industrial client to "dismantle" a $6.5 million claim by the general contractor. Successfully settled.

·        Acted as Expert for crane contractor in dispute regarding formation of contract. Provided Expert testimony in court. Bate v Enerflex.

·        Acted as Expert in dispute between homeowner and contractor. Provided testimony at trial. Hurst v Hotchkiss.

·        Acted as Expert in $1.5 million claim for a bonding company against the owner, who had overcertified and overpaid the defaulting general contractor. Successfully settled prior to trial.

·        Prepared claim for general contractor in $3.0 million dispute against the owner. Represented the contractor at mediation meetings.

·        Acted as Expert in defending an Owner against claim from unsuccessful bidder. Provided testimony at trial. MJB v Defence Construction.

·        Retained on behalf of an Owner to dismantle major claim from a general contractor for lost productivity on a large industrial project. Successfully represented the Owner at mediation.

·        Acted as Expert in dispute over award to other than the lowest tender. Provided testimony at trial. Double N Construction v City of Edmonton.

·        Acted as Expert in defending a $20 million lawsuit for post tensioning failure on high rise office building.

·        Acted as Expert in action over non award of tender on wind generating plant. Provided testimony at trial.  Wind Power v Sask Power

·        Acted as Expert in defending claim from contractor against Owner on harbour breakwater project, Queen Charlotte Islands.

·        Prepared $1.5 million claim for general contractor for delays and lack of information on high rise condominium project.

·        Provided Expert opinion to bonding company on tender and contract terms on sewage line upgrading project in Winnipeg.

·        Acted as Expert for school board in defending claims from general contractor for delays and changed site conditions.

·        Acted as Expert to determine value of work completed by terminated contractor on sewage treatment facility, NWT.

·        Acted as Expert to establish value of work in place upon termination of contract for major industrial project in Ontario.

·        Prepared contractor’s claim for $1.2 million on industrial contract.
